Badges on a FixlyGuide contractor profile are earned, not bought. Each one is applied by a FixlyGuide reviewer after checking submitted documentation, or calculated from real performance on leads sent through this site. A contractor cannot switch a badge on for themselves.
Business Verified
A FixlyGuide reviewer confirmed the legal business name, address, phone and email against submitted documentation or public records.
License Verified
A current trade license number and state were provided and confirmed with the issuing authority or a license document on file.
Insurance Verified
A current certificate of general liability insurance was reviewed and had not expired at the time of review.
Fast Responder
Measured from real FixlyGuide leads: this contractor consistently responds to homeowner requests quickly.
Highly Rated
Averages 4.5 stars or higher across published FixlyGuide homeowner reviews.
Featured Contractor
A promoted placement selected by FixlyGuide. Featured placement never overrides license, insurance or performance requirements in lead routing.
What “Business Information Verified” means
When you see Business Information Verified: March 2026 on a profile, that date is the month a FixlyGuide reviewer completed the check. We record the verification method, the reviewer, the documents reviewed, and any expiration dates for licenses and insurance. If a credential expires, the related badge comes down until the contractor provides current documentation.
Verification is a good-faith check, not a guarantee of workmanship. Always confirm license and insurance details directly with the contractor before work begins.
